Cultural Days across Canada start today!
The first annual Culture Days event was held in September 2010 in over 700 Canadian cities and towns and, by all accounts, was a great success. The 2011 Culture Days weekend is ON NOW, from September 30 to October 2, 2011.
Canada-wide Culture Days events feature free, hands-on, interactive activities that invite the public to participate behind the scenes, to discover the world of artists, creators, historians, architects, curators, and designers at work in their community.
To locate a specific activity in your area, try the advance search tool , which lets you select say, Visual Arts, and specify your city, or province. For example, click here for the Visual Arts Cultural Days in BC listings. Note you can sort the results by city, date or event name. Enjoy!!
