Having creative talent, some of my hobbies were ceramics, 3-D paper tole pictures, tole painting, petite point, knitting, sewing and crochet. I had an interest in art when in school but only started to get serious about painting in 2002. The process of producing art is an excitement in my life ďż˝ seeing how each watercolor will emerge on paper. I worked in the business community for over 14 years and since retirement volunteer at the Airport Chaplaincy Office, YVR Green Coats. I have created watercolors of still life, birds, flowers, sunsets, buildings and many other subjects that interest me. Color, shape and emotion combined on the canvas provide me with enjoyment, thus providing someone else with a different and interesting view. Traveling to Soreze France in May 2004 with a painting group gave me a wonderful opportunity to photograph and paint on location. |

| I have chosen watercolors as my medium, to paint varied subjects such as flowers, sunsets, buildings, still life and many other delightful objects. Most of my watercolors have a story of their own representing the beauty I saw when I traveled to other parts of the world. The beautiful creation that surrounds us, touches the heart and brings enjoyment to all is depicted in my watercolors. | |
